My guess is the gt 500 will use this body and power plant, but axe the carbon fiber and super aggressive bits to be like a 100k car. There's no way they would make the new gt 500 a 300 grand car.

I am not sure this design is the way to go. Looks like a lot of things just put together to try to make it look cool. The front end looks too basic in my opinion. I wish it was much sleeker, given the competition Farley compared it to.

The GT3 RS starts at 241k Considering that the GTD will be using a lot more carbon fiber, that makes the price difference, as well as the entire drivetrain and suspension being bespoke.

The best part of any development process, the design sketches. Give it five seconds and someone will come out with a fiberglass replica of these panels, that's what we really need.

Man… what a run the S550/S650 has been.

It feels like each year since 2015 represented a milestone from the 1965-1970 era. The 2015 felt like the ‘65, the GT350 was the ‘66, the 2018 and Bullitt looked like the ‘67, the Mach 1 was totally 1968, the GT500 screamed the old ‘67-‘68 Shelby, the 2024 GT and DH brought in more 1969 elements and this GTD has methinking about the 1970 and Boss cars.

$300k is too expensive but I guarantee every single GTD they make are already spoken for…
