The Supervan is also electric. Perfect for those same day deliveries in another State.

I think they are tube chassis race cars of some sort, not like a dude's F-150 pickup that he is just so talented he drove really, really fast. 🤣
Yeah, I am familiar with them... very much not stock... just thought it a bit funny 😁.

Ford apparently came back to the Ring with the fourth iteration of its GT, it's og supercar, and quite literally broke almost every record there is to break.

6:15 is just absolutely crazy for a production car (although apparently only 74 will be made).

The article was posted on April 2nd so I assume it's not longer an April's fool ... Besides, another famous German outlet had an article about it posted 15 hours ago so...

The track's own site had it posted the day it was reported. No lag time there...

“Production” car. It’s not street legal.

Still an awesome car and a great accomplishment!

I'm copying my post over from the other threads in case one of them gets closed or they're merged:

That's a great achievement! I'm glad that they included that it's a street legal variant, so we don't have the endless arguing here about that. I still think it's asinine that you have to apply to Ford to give them a ridiculous sum of money, but whatever. I'd also like to know how much this will cost since the reality of the GTD is that the 325K base doesn't include the regular track pack (or whatever it's called), so they're really 400K+ cars before the Competition came out.

Also, just imagine what this car would do if Ford had gone all-out for the 7th gen and wasn't using an old steel unibody from over a decade ago. It would shave significant weight if they could use aluminum. Of course, that would likely increase the price as well.
