it looks like Ford was unable to set a time at their planned date due to bad weather, so they opted to shoot some B-roll instead with the hour they had left

yep. That’s what I saw. Track was too wet and they took the time left and pivoted to follow the GTD at slower speeds with a camera chaser car. They opened the throttle on some dry portions.

I think they are still chasing the time. But a wet/icy track isn’t the only issue. As the temperatures plummet, tire rubber won’t stick to the track so well.

either they’re happy with aaa time they posted already or we’ll get a “stay tined” message.

Looks like Ford is going to launch the documentary video soon though.
