Has anyone transitioned from Steeda’s progressive sport springs to Steeda’s, or a competitors, minimum drop springs? What’s the impact on performance and comfort? Any suggestions to improve clearance without significantly changing driving characteristics?

I’m dialed in on the progressive springs and Steeda’s proaction dampers but I’m scrapping up front.

I went from Steeda progressives to ford performance track springs then their street springs. Was less of a drop but the track springs were more firm, and street springs to me feel like the progressives just a tad bit more firm minus the excessive rake I had on mine cause I would scrape and rub on my driver fender. Since then haven’t had any more issues. You could do what was recommended and purchase spacers to raise the car a bit but not sure if I had seen someone not have any luck with them. Could be wrong though so don’t take my word for it.

It was mainly the super raked look it had. And I didn’t want to scrape when I shouldn’t be. Once I switched didn’t have any issues. They still look good so it’s just a preference thing. I attached two pictures of when I had their springs and my current ford performance street ones.

It was mainly the super raked look it had. And I didn’t want to scrape when I shouldn’t be. Once I switched didn’t have any issues. They still look good so it’s just a preference thing. I attached two pictures of when I had their springs and my current ford performance street ones.

So the front was raised .3 inches and the back lowered .2 “. It’s amazing what a difference .3 of an inch can make. I don’t like worrying about rubbing or scrapping either. You car looks great! It’s still an aggressive stance but now you can put a finger between your tire and fender.

Thank you! It definitely made a huge difference! Now I don’t have any issues with rubbing or scraping. Granted every car isn’t exactly the same so you may not have any rubbing and I only knew I had it because I had new PPF and it was already rubbing it off. Recently got it replaced and no rubbing with my current springs even after driving through dips and what not. Before I was able to put maybe one finger and now I can put like 2, but I do have skinny fingers

My front tires, 0 fingers, and my RTR chin splitter rubbed several times the day it was installed.

I’m considering Steeda Mustang Front Ride Height Spacer Kit (2015-2026) to raise the front an 1/8 or 1/4 inch. At $200, it’s expensive but I like Steeda’s progressive springs and rather not make a change if I don’t have to.
