I understand Blackstones is the top of their game. I understand they tell you all sorts of things. I just wonder how is the information to the average driver? If it does show you have problems do they give you ideas to solve the problem? I have seen on this sight that Ford does not really do anything if you show them. I realize a good report is great just wonder how much they can help if you get a bad report.It Absolutely will. Blackstones tests are pretty comprehensive.
Filter looks great for that milage. I think it's fine just normal wear.Just went and took some pics of the drain pan what left after I drained the oil back into the containers and also a pic of the filter cut open.![]()

GlennThanks everyone for the replies.I have blackstone sending me a kit.Since I have already changed the oil how many miles should I put on the new oil before I send it in?Blacktone says to take the sample roughly about half way thru the drain and not to start the car before I take the sample.Also I cut open the oil filter and do not see anything in it at all.
