It's the same width as a normal s650 friend. If it was a GTD mule, those wheels would be sticking out a few inches on both sides. That car is plenty wide.
Who knows at this point, we're both just spitballing here. Time will tell. Monterey car week is coming up in less than 2 weeks. That was where they surprised everyone with the GTD last year. Maybe they'll discuss whatever this is at this year's event. No-one knows but Ford.A GTD mule doesn't have to be running the GTD wheels/tires. Again, mules are not exact replicas.
If you look in the back window you can see it has rear seats so I don't think it's a mid engine. It looks like the rear end has cooling vents for a transaxle setup. This car was also seen in this thread: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/th...le-coming-in-2025.160971/page-15#post-3276567

Heck yea!Whoever is currently driving this mule lives in the same subdivision as one of our engineers. He showed me a picture of it in the driveway. I told him he should stop by and have a chat ...![]()
No, it’s not some idiot. Look inside the trunk fence. You can see two electric fans. It’s a test vehicle all right radiator in the back. It’s gotta be a testing for some sort of hybrid in the front. Move the radiator get more room.its more than likely an idiot and stick on parts trying to make it look that way. No firewall or break between the drivers compartment and "engine" its highly unlikely ford would have that out on the road even if it is legit. Too much liability. They have an excellent test facility for that.
