Probably because there won't be a refresh for '27. We would have seen something by now.
Either that, or Ford is going to start the new model year later than it has been doing the last several years. According to this article from Ford Authority, the refresh is happening in "late 2026."

Ford never sticks to its published time lines. Both the S550 and S650 were supposed to come out years earlier than they did.

Also Ford Authority is not owned or operated by Ford. Its just another enthusiast page. Nothing they print should be taken as gospel.

I wasn't looking for this, but coincidentally came across a text message I sent to a friend last year, linking to an article about Ford announcing the FX Package for the 2026 model year. At that time, it wasn't stated if Adriatic Blue would be available across the line or was just for the FX package.

That was June 7th. So maybe we're about a month away from finding out at least some info on what 2027 holds in store. Or maybe not.

I feel it's probably too soon for a refresh.
With the S197 generation, they ran for five model years before doing a reskin and interior overhaul, then followed up with powertrain improvements one year later. With the S550, they did just three model years before changing a bunch of stuff.
Ford may very well feel content to let things ride for another year or two before making substantial changes.
Agree with all of this. Ford isn't likely to do a refresh after just 3 years like the S550. I'm beginning to think they won't be doing an S650 refresh at all. They'll simply introduce the next gen around MY30.

Not sure if I'm remembering correctly, but I thought Ford did the refresh in 2018 to meet some safety standard with hitting pedestrians.

This must be what happens when Chevrolet (or maybe Prius) owners join the forum.
