Obnoxiously loud exhaust and ridiculously oversized tailpipe tips. Does anybody ever see an exhaust pipe tip as big around as a 1-gallon paint can and think to themselves, "Gee, that pickup must have an engine from a Navy frigate to need an exhaust pipe that big!"? Who do these yokels think...
I just looked at the 2026 Mustang Owner's Manual, and the Breaking-In section is very brief.
Your vehicle requires a break-in period. For the first 1,000 mi (1,600 km), avoid driving at high speeds, heavy braking, aggressive shifting or using your vehicle to tow. During this time, your vehicle...
I looked up their webpage. Evidently, they make stuff in 70 colors, but the 5.0 emblem insert is only available in 28 colors. Too bad. The Turquoise would probably look really sharp on Adriatic Blue, but that isn't one of the options for the 5.0 badge.
Rolling coal has got to be the worst. There are a lot of things that are stupid, but rolling coal is a way for jerks to express their contempt for everyone around them who has to breathe in their soot. Do these people also defecate on people's dinner tables to demonstrate their machismo?
Thank you, GrabberB. I am planning on having some stuff professionally painted, such as the grill surround, as @Wiley Marmot did and told us about in this post. I am also trying to decide if I want the rear diffuser painted completely, or to leave some of it black. I know that having large...
The only overlays I have found are these carbon fiber ones from Lethal Performance, and they don't say anything about being paintable. I may be out of luck.
I have a 2026 Mustang GT on order, and I've been thinking about some customization options. I know that it is a popular mod to have tinted taillamp lenses, so that the whole assembly looks black when the lamps are not illuminated. I am thinking of doing the opposite and making the whole...
If you have a spouse who drives the car (or any car with a stick shift) only once or twice a year, the automatic rev-matching could make it less stressful for them. Turn the feature on for the occasional driver; turn it back off when the everyday driver is back in the saddle.
I placed my order on the evening of 06/19/2026 and received a confirmation email with an Order ID the next morning. It would be nice if it took no more than 3 months from order to delivery date, but I know it could very well take longer.
I will be a few months before I have any pictures to share, but I placed an order for an Adriatic Blue Mustang yesterday.
GT Premium Fastback
6-Speed Manual
401A interior
GT Performance Package
MagneRide Suspension
Active Valve Performance Exhaust
Machined-face aluminum wheels
Rear Spoiler...
Based on that picture, it isn't that noticeable. We see it because we're looking for it, but most people who aren't examining your grill wouldn't notice it, I suspect.
It sounds like some members here buy cars a lot more frequently than I have. In your opinion, do you tend to get better deals at larger dealerships or smaller ones? I plan on going to my local dealership to get a price on special-ordering a Mustang, but I want to go to at least one other one...
She can drive a stick, but she prefers not to.
Tell me about those Bamboo Brakes, though. I would not think they would be very heat-resistant, but it turns out that bamboo fiber composite brake pads are a real thing.
