Neat! I also have Recaros and never noticed that it's called out in the top section of the window sticker too. But it sure is.I think your SOL. I just looked at my window sticker and I ordered the Recaro seats and they are listed under optional equipment/other as well as up top in the green section.
How long does it take before you can see the window sticker online? I received an email from Ford on July 16th. It had the VIN, and the build was scheduled for the week starting August 31st. When I go to the Ford Order Dashboard, there is a button to view the window sticker, but it still says, "Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle."
Do you not get to see it until the car has been built? It would sure be nice to be able to review it and verify that all the details of the order are correct.
So, too late to fix the order, I presume. That would really suck to find out that they forgot the MagneRide suspension, for instance, but it's too late to correct the order. The window sticker is generated when the vehicle goes IN PRODUCTION, 7-10 days before the BLEND date.
Thank you for that advice! I just sent my salesman a message requesting that document.I’ve order two Mustangs and have followed many builds over the past four years and the accuracy of the build vs the order is normally correct. Usually there is a delay in production if some ordered item is not available, so when it enters production it should be in accordance with your order.
To ensure that the order submitted is exactly what your wanted it is important to review the actual order submitted, not just that which was written up in your order. The dealer person who enters the order can make a mistake and it is important to catch it ASAP when it is submitted. Before scheduled! Definitely before it starts production at the plant.
I always ask my dealer for a copy of the DORA which allows you to see exactly what was entered into the order system.
