I see some 300a cars still have a stitched center console while others don't. Whats the parameters to get the stitching. Here is an example...this is a 300a car at Galpin Ford. I have a feeling its because of the Performance Package.

I am considering ordering a Yellow 300a car with Performance Package and this is a biggy for me.

You are correct. All the 300A & 301A Performance Pack cars have the stitched center console. Ford would rather make one version of this center console for all performance pack vehicles. They had to make a separate version of the center console because it’s cut out to accommodate the electronic/drift brake. I reckon they decided making one version with the stitching was best for PP Mustangs.

Also note that the only interior colors you can choose at the 300A and 301A level are Ebony Black and Space Gray, so it makes sense for Ford to make one center console/with white stitching for the base performance pack cars.

The stitching color can vary on PP 400A and up cars depending on which interior color you go with (Emberglow, Carmine Red, etc.)

Thanks...just ordered a Splash Yellow and Black Onyx interior, 400a car, manual transmission, Performance Pack, Red calipers. I am not going for the AE as I plan to switch that out right off the bat to the FP Extreme Non Active with the DH rear valance and Borla Switchfire.
