Wrong Interior Color on VIN

GRRRRRRRR. Car is scheduled for this week and ordered the red interior. The order sheet shows the Carmine red as the interior choice. And the order online showed it as well. The window sticker became available yesterday and is showing onyx black. Dealer is investigating but in all honesty, I assume I’m outta luck with the red?

Scheduled for this week and window sticker only became available yesterday? That timing sounds off. What is the blend date on the sticker?

That sucks! Definitely not what you ordered. I have the red and just reviewed my order and window sticker. Both reflect the red. Either someone fat-fingered something (which makes no sense) or they did not have the red available and substituted.

Sorry, that's not a good feeling when you special order and are excited to get exactly what you want. I wonder if they can work something out to swap the seats out (admittedly, I don't know if it is just seats or if there are other trim elements that are also impacted).

Yours specifically says it is Carmine Red... His does not unfortunately.

I think your SOL. I just looked at my window sticker and I ordered the Recaro seats and they are listed under optional equipment/other as well as up top in the green section.

@jmatero ....., IMO you have a number of good options. First you can get Carmine Red seat covers from Ford. Second you can have Katskins make them for you and they will be as good as or more likely, based on what I have seen even better. My first position would be for Ford or your dealer to provide and install them at NO cost to you. I would be fierce about demanding this. My fall back (after a hell of a fight) would be you provide them to me at cost and install them for free. I have ordered GTs twice now, a 2024 GT and a 2026 GT both had space gray interiors/seats and no 'effing way would I have accepted black. Good luck. Stay strong!

Mine had the Carmine Red in that location also. Mine was the 401A premium also. 🥲🥲🥲.

Yours specifically says it is Carmine Red... His does not unfortunately.
