Running a manufacturer plate? No its more than likely an idiot and stick on parts trying to make it look that way. No firewall or break between the drivers compartment and "engine"
Good callNo chance it’s mid engined, the body of the mustang would have to be vastly altered to support a mid engined platform. What I see is some very wide tires and some aggressive aero (vents at the bottom of the back window exiting through the trunk lid like the GTD). Looks like a test mule for another high performance model, possibly slotting under the GTD as a middle ground. New GT350 equivalent maybe.
Wrong. It's definitely legit test vehicle. It's what we call a "mule", mostly likely for the GTD. We see this kind of stuff all over the roads here in SE Michigan, especially around the Dearborn and downriver areas.its more than likely an idiot and stick on parts trying to make it look that way. No firewall or break between the drivers compartment and "engine" its highly unlikely ford would have that out on the road even if it is legit. Too much liability. They have an excellent test facility for that.
People who aren't involved in the automobile manufacturing industry don't understand, @young at heart.Running a manufacturer plate?
Most certainly is a good chance this is a mule for the GTD or similar car. Have you not seen the ass end of a GTD?No chance it’s mid engined, the body of the mustang would have to be vastly altered to support a mid engined platform.
