Well made tender, but as Twin Turbo mentioned, it's just a tweaked ford gt. Hopefully we'll get an actual mid-engine mustang to slot alongside the s650, said it before but that would be really cool imo.

Chevy introduced the mid-engine Corvette.
You have to admit that none of the 'mule' shots imply a mid-engine Mustang.
Quite the opposite, they convey a re-design of the s550.

Chevy introduced the mid-engine Corvette.

The midengine Corvette was an open secret. Since the amount of tests you have to do on such completely new layout the C8 was already spied back in 2016. If Ford would work on anything for S650 that goes beyond a 2-door frontend RWD car, we would know. Based on the rumors the best we could get is AWD for hybrid models and a 4 door version.

Why am I buying a Mustang after having Six Corvettes and 7 Camaros, Buick GS Stage I, Impala SS, etc because GM did away with Camaro, and C8 is a make believe Ferrari or a knock off of a hot wheel, I HATE THEM. Always admired Shelby, Mustangs and this was the right time to buy one, as I am NOT spending over 90 grand for a Corvette no way. STAY AWAY FROM MIDENGINES, the are overpriced, costly to repair, may be fast but much less space and no place to put a six pack, no trunk. KEEP the Stang AMERICAN. Chevy messed up going after the younger generation and they cant afford it so all you see are grey hairs behind the wheels. Oh I was on the C8 Mule team as part time driver tester in Knoxville track (Part time), during the third stage of testing, hated them. Rather drive the SSR than that.

Actually goes back to 2015 when first clay model was made, and by 2016 the had prototype, many changes made, suppose to have been called ZORA Corvette. Chevy was actually going to build both the front end version and the mid engine, mid engine was designed for the start to by the E-Ray, but beancounter said on or the other thus the LS4 got its start. Peter Brockley was brought in to consult with design, and after about year he left.
