Have a 2026 GT Premium and would like to know if there is any way to replace the grill pony without removing the entire front end. Any ideas? JUST THE PONY nothing else.
NO, treasure the memory of having them during a time when we could go to the showroom and buy a new Muscle Car off the lot, something you younger people cannot do, you have to buy them restored., So I prefer to rememver the Cragars when you bought tem on your muscle car when it was new.....just...
Personally I love these optional wheels, I got with my Mustang, from the factory. I think it captures the five spoke wheel of the past, but its more in line with the S-650 lines and shapes.
The Cragers I had was on my brand new 73 Malibu SS; If I can find picture I will post it up. They look great on that car, and I did much more with mods as I had air shocks on the back, put on a Weiden Tarantula Intake with a Holley 750 dual pump, Hooker Headers, Thrush Glass Packs, and a...
LOVE SS CRAGERS, on a 67 Mustang GT Coupe, or 69 Chevelle SS, NOT on newer models cars. Tire profiles, wider tires, and body styles have changed. I like 5 spoke wheels, but the newer versions on our car. Cragers where made during a certain time period and that is where they should stay. IMHO...
Most likely is was RPI Design. I gave Jeff the original owner many ideas for painting Corvette Engine covers and other things. I don't know who is running the shop now, but they have very few items for the S-650 Generation Mustang. Took a lot of patience but figured it out, and love the look...
I hope all of you are right, but I still do not trust dealers. HOWEVER, the dealer I bought my car from was great and all promises and agreements were kept. Support during build and transport was great as my salesperson, Jason, was very responsive and accurate. I prepare for the worse and...
Don't shoot the messanger but don't want to be a Danny Downer. In order to guarantee the agreed out the door final price you must have a signed sales contract agreement with both your and the sales MANAGER's signature. Deposit depends upon the dealer and a deposit is not necessary if the...
You should pay the price you and dealer signed on the sales agreement at the time the car was ordered. You should NOT have to pay the $500. increase after the date you signed the sales agreement and FORD accepted the order. Now things could have changed lets here what other have to say about...
Finally finished, took over a month of sanding, taping, sanding, spraying, wet sanding, touch up, sanding, and final clear coat spray. Did the intake cover. One picture worth a thousand words. Used all extreme heat plastic adhesion, primer, paint, and heat clear coat. Came out really nice.
Today change the color of the grill pony to Race Red. Used a decal, as I have to ambition to disassemble the front bumper to remove the old pony and put a new one on, so I found a place that makes a decal. Using a heat gun, little spay water, small squeegee, some race red touch up paint and a...
My post pertains to cars sold in the US and Canada,. Europe falls under a different division at Ford. The color Yellow is not offered in the US on the Mustang.
Got to the bottom of the Convertible Top Side Panels, simply put Ford stopped providing them on all S-650 generation. Through some of my contacts this is what I got from a very senior Ford executive....
About those infamous Mustang Convertible Top Side Panels. The panels are not missing, the...
