Is there any way to add the USB C port?

My 24 GT did not come with a USB C port in the rear view mirror assembly. I am hoping the wires are there and there's just no port added from the factory? Are there any mods available to add the port by myself?

I was disappointed to find out that my 25 doesn't have it either. I was going to use it for my radar detector. I ended up using a hot tap like this instead.

Are you SURE your 2025 doesn't have it? It's recessed and on the drivers side.. I had to see it initially thru the windshield. But my 2025 definitely has it. It's what I have a dash cam plugged into...

I just checked out my 2024. I have a USB-A on the bottom but no USB-C. You can just get an adapter for C to A.

This appears to be for radars. Is there anything similar for a usb c port? Im looking to use it with a dashcam.

Also any instructions/video on how to use the wire taps?

HERE is a video on how to do the hot tap.
Also, the reason to do this (as opposed to using the USB port, if you have one, is that apparently the USB port is on all the time, not accessory. This video shows you where to tap in to the accessory power.

There are a thousand versions of this usb-c wire tap on amazon. Would be the same instructions as the video I posted earlier for the radar tap.

Also, I stand corrected. I just took the advice and looked from the outside. The USB port is there. You can only see it through the windshield...
