If you're not getting a Mustang now, what are you doing until then?

Waiting for convertible production to stabilize, and hopefully for my investment accounts to recover. Will continue to drive my 2007 and 2017 GT convertibles in the meantime.

Continuing to drive my '19 GT. Going to install PP1 Brembo brakes, Bilstein struts, and sway bars next. I probably won't get an S650 until a mid cycle refresh, unless I go with something else like a used C8.

Heck my California Special manual GT Premium is two months old and has about 950 miles. (it is a wet winter hence in garage!). So many quality issues with it - unroadworthy with it after 2 weeks told it would take a month to have time to fix it. Will be more than keen to get a S650 - when the quality is ok.
I have owned over 50 cars (paid cash) and I used to have warm hatches/Alfas/Fiats etc now when looking back I have had a V8 since 1988. There are two, the GT/CS and the GM Commodore SS manual UTE (pick up) the USA had the sedan version as the Pontiac. L98 - 285 Kw manual as much fun as the Mustang as a daily driver. Stuff all this EV rubbish - green wash junk from China.

I didn't like all the issues with the 2024, so I canceled the order and bought a 2023 GT Premium with more options and 3,200 bucks less than the 2024 after dealer and Ford Motor Co discounts.

A lot different than my 2008 Shelby GT 500. I really like the car.

It's the DH or a used M3, M5 or x5 M60i. But I really want a v8 NA. Plus the DH cheaper .

Passed on S550 Mach 1. Bought some other vehicles that were available before S650, although they also took a long time (Bronco, Blackwing)! Working to convince a friend to buy the Dark Horse, w/Tremec manual, so I can try that out from time to time. He can afford it, he wants it (he owned a Bullitt in the past, before he and his wife had a daughter), he's from a "Ford family," now he just needs to do it. Typical story, he's a good guy thinking of the family. I told him his daughter will completely understand any inconveniences, having a cool car outweighs practicality (since he and his wife would also have an Explorer or similar).

Jokes aside, I'm looking at all options at this point. I'm not brand loyal, so there are quite a few cars out there that I am looking at...however, no other brand new coupe comes with a V8+manual. I will have something by 2025, for sure.

You and me both, on both the meaning of life (granted I'm almost always doing this, conscious- and unconsciously) and looking at all options!

Great choice. I actually ordered a SPWB charger myself…the engine plus the 4 doors/moonroof is really calling me. If I take it I will be getting a 28-29 model mustang to sit next to it.

Im curious what a Shelby variant would run considering a well equiped DH is 70k plus. 85k for a 350? 100k for a base 500?
