Hi all,
This is my 4th Mustang (2024 GT) and I've also had 4 Corvettes over the years. I've never seen the flex/vibrations in the hood at 80+mph in this one vs the others. I looked up the thread topics and didn't find a similar thread so I'm curious.

Is this a normal thing?

Is it normal to not see any, is that the question?

Sorry.... question is the flexing of the hood normal? It's much more pronounced than the other cars I mentioned, that's why it's so noticeable to me

There are many post on this... simple solution, adjust the hood stops.

Search "hood lift" there's quite a few posts on the subject.
I see it even on the Dark Horse R series during races, but I said better safe than sorry and pinned mine.

Unscrew both rubber feet a quarter turn and then check if it still flexes when you press on a corner.

It's the main reason I never drive a muscle car without hood pins... It was the first upgrade I did.

Ya my dark horse does it, even after adjusting them, it still does it just nowhere near as bad
I fitted some fairly solid round rubber pads where the hood stops sit on the front cross member. This then means you can screw the hood stops in a bit and they become less compressible. Worked well for me now it is rock solid

Mine came from the dealer well aligned, but still flutters at speed and moves when I gently press/lift on the corners of the hood. My guess is that I need to lower the latch itself at this point?

Mine did the same until Sofa King told me to do a 1/4 turn on the rubber stops. problem fixed.
