Has the GT also fake exhaust sound?

I think this whole discussion is useless now.

There is 1 group who tested and found out about it and another group who don't want to believe the truth because they stick with their believe that a V8 doesn't need that feature and that all the sound is natural.

I thought we are here on the forum to share facts and learn from it. But it seems that there are some people here who activly trying to deny something, not because they really believe what they are thinking, but because they don't want to believe the truth.

It's very confronting for some people to tell them the truth. They rather stay in their own fantasy bubble.

It's almost like I'm talking about religion instead of fake car sounds from the speaker.

Oh and people, those fake car sounds are on many other performance cars. Fake it till you make it.

Well, why is that not important empirical evidence?

You are testing whether there is anything to listen to by, well, focusing on listening.

Important question: Your car shows the number "1" and not "0" in the correct place? I mean, if it is "0," then you should expect to hear nothing, correct?

I have no idea what codes my car is showing. I swear, with my luck, if I plugged in Forscan, my wheels would probably fall off.

So here’s what I have absorbed so far.

There’s 2 factors in play:

Active Noise Cancellation: Possibly why the exhaust seems so muted inside the cabin?

Electronic Sound Enhancement: Giving the exhaust a deeper tone?

OK, do I have any of this right?
Both are confirmed in the programming, but that could also be artifacts from the Ecoboost ECU. In the GT, disabling them in Forscan seems to have made a difference. But no microphones have been listed in the GT diagram. Microphones are needed for ANC, but ESE can just be artificially produced with the engine off like the Ecoboost video. I put my ear right to the stereo speaker and can’t detect any artificial noise. Not very scientific, but ears is all I have….lol.

Oh yeah…

ESE is on all of our Mustangs (no mics)... ANC is only on convertibles (mics).

Where is anyone claiming to hear ESE sounds while it's turned off?
Only post I remember is a guy stating it is turned off without himself having done it.
He didn't say he's hearing it.

That' neat. I did not know it switched to track mode when doing the rev feature from the key fob, but what does that have to do with the topic? I cannot figure out the connection.

So I've had enough and did what I should have done long time ago: Update page one with all important information.
Hopefully, cross fingers, new readers will read that first post before asking the same questions and triggering Zigzag to post his nonsense over and over again.
I wonder if there is no mod active who could send a friendly reminder that trolling is not helping anyone.
