I hope this is the Mach 1/Boss/GT350 variant, I would be a buyer at sub 70k. The 80k starting price of the GT500 would have me looking at a GT, but I would love to buy a sub 70k special model by late 2023.

Inner tips look like they have ran considerably hotter / passed more gas than the outers - is that common the the 500 / Mach 1 tips ?

This is pretty normal for most of the S550 Mustang variants with active exhaust and dual tips. (GT, Mach 1, GT500), that are especially run hard.
Anytime Track Mode is used extensively, exhaust bypasses the route which would take some gasses through the outer-most-tip, and makes the gasses pass exclusively through the inner tip (which houses the active valve and actuator).

We must see a difference due to the GPF’s on a euro - I have active and default to track, both inners and outer stay very clean :like:

Could they be extending s550 into the 2023 model year and replacing the Mach 1 with a 1 year only boss 302? And have that be the top dog for 2023. S650 in late 2023-early 2024.

Is it possible that this is a performance pack for the GT? Like doesn’t the current PP GT brakes closer to the ones on the S197 Boss/Shelby’s?

I only ask because the current PP was marketed as being faster than the Boss. So to get it on par or to beat a Mach1, it should take those brakes, right?

Doesn’t look like a GT500 to me. The exhaust pipes look too small. Looks more like a GT with an upgraded performance pack.

I think those wheels are slightly different than the current performance pack wheels. They look different where the hub splits out to the forks or whatever. Like the color as well.

And a wheel comparison. This white GT convertible is a UK GT......we had the option of the Performance Pack wheels in silver.

To me, the design looks identical, but the mule wheels appear larger. The definitely fill the arches better, so they might have a revised offset and the suspension is definitely lower.
