I'm just gonna go ahead and say it.

To me, this looks like another "Mustang II Era"

I understand some people like it, but it's dog ugly to me. I can't see tying it into the rest of the car making it any better. I'll happily keep my 17

May I remind you that basically everyone said the exact same thing about the 2018s, and the 2015 when it first came out, and the 2010 before that. The only time I can recall a mustang design being universally loved immediately was the '05. I'm sure even that design had haters I'm not aware of.
Not me, I liked the 18 a lot more than the 15-17. That's why I finally bought one. But yes I've seen 50 years of the "ugly" new vehicle cycles.

I am eager to see how low the front bumper was dropped because the headlights will follow which will lower the waistline down the sides. Or, we may see a tapered waistline that starts low at the headlight and gradually ramps up to meet the hips. I think it will be S197 proportions on an S550 wheelbase and track with a lot of New Edges… if you know what I mean. 😉
For the love of..........where did this one come from???? Is this legit? View attachment 556774

I don't see any plastic, if you're talking about that blocky character line going around the grille, it looks like metal.
The grill surround probably drops out on performance models. I know one thing, THIS has grown on me waaaaay faster than the leaked 2015 Mustang pics did.

Surprised no one’s said it. You can see obvious cues from the Explorer ST line. Very corporate branding design across Ford’s models.

I like it, as I did the S550 when it first was revealed. This is just a leak anyway, and we all know the aftermarket will allow all of us to make it how we like it.
