According to stangmode rumor, so take with a grain of salt, internally Ford is debating whether to make a V8 model available or not. Major flop is no affordable V8 in my eyes. Should be close to the pricing of the coupe
My 4 door sedan driving days are over, but I won't consider a vehicle without a V8 option. I have the TRX for hauling stuff and people and it's been AWESOME to me. It's my daily, hopefully for a long time.

What I need now is something smaller and fun in a different way. I bought the DH for my fun car, but it's been almost 2 months of issues now. Might be looking for a new V8 powered 2 door soon unless Ford makes this right QUICK.

Is this better:
That still doesn't sound good. But that's a different engine than you're going to get in the Mustang, with specially built headers etc.

What you need to do is watch some videos of F150 EcoBoosts with their terrible loud exhausts, that's what it's going to sound like.

Is it the sound, reliability, or complexity of a turbo engine that makes you only consider a V8?

For me, the sound is a HUGE part of the driving experience. Like having a GREAT score/soundtrack for a movie. I think right now, AWD V8 hybrids are the sweet spot, I'm not against certain tech nor complexity if it WORKS.

Which is my biggest complaint against EVs, there is no score/soundtrack...

That reveal with the SuperBee doing that burnout was hilarious.

I had it on as background noise while putting up shelves, window open and everything… I GENUINELY THOUGHT MY NEIGHBOR WAS DOING YARDWORK 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lmbo!! 🤣🤣 I can’t blame you at all I would have thought the same thing!😂

V6 EcoBoost will sound even worse if they put any kind of performance exhaust on it
they def don’t sound great, but I think still levels better than the hurricane in my opinion. But I leave my Bronco v6 eco boost exhaust stock for a reason 😂
Please stop watching that guy. He is nothing but clickbait.
He is but he’s a good guy. I can watch his content with my son without having to worry about cussing and stuff. Some nice content and fluff pieces on there. I come here or 6G if I want real info

Check out Speed Phenom - he just started posting some Mustang content again - usually good information (can be some click bait but not stangmode level) and 10000000% kid friendly - he also posts a bunch of stuff on other cars too which is kind of cool but I would definitely let kids of any age watch

Thats who I watch with my son, and certain Hagerty videos whenever Camissa isn’t too crazy. (Mustang one was pretty good)

That's why I didn't include the F150s as part of potentially good sounding V6s. What then are examples of good sounding V6s? (For that matter, what are examples of good sounding I4s?)

There are almost none. Design of the engine is the problem. Firing order, shared cylinders blah blah.

There's a ton of them. Usually anything high revving.

The Inline 6 on the other hand, can sound alright. Not great, certainly not V8 great, but it can sound 'not bad'. That Dodge Sixpack sounds like ass because it's a factory exhaust.

There are a few decent sounding ones in clips like these:
