Yeah I go off that because that is what everything kinda follows. When that’s at temp, naturally oil is there with it.
Good temp. Now I’m curious to see what oil temp is actually at when coolant is in the middle. I know those oil coolers make a 10-15 degree difference probably more.

Definitely more. If you’re at 230 without driving insanely hard, that’s a solid 50 degree difference lol. Without driving hard I’m at around 180-185 ish.

Not having my car since Monday has me a bit all over the place. For example I know I haven’t taken the car over 5k rpms and I have seen those temps. Not often but I have. Usually, it sits around 215-218 if I remember correctly.

It’s hard to tell my level, but I recently did a full 10qt change and my oil level is mid point between the high and low marks cold. So yours actually seems reasonable given the 9.5 qt spec.

First hot check. About 18 minutes after cutting the car off.

I would stay with 9.5qts and read where the stick reads. Even if its in the middle between the holes you should be good.

Another photo just because about 20 minutes ago. Looks promising. Right at the half marker. Not sure why my cold reading the other day was so low..

Looks good, just keep monitoring for the next few days and few hundred miles to be sure. I think you’re good, time will tell. When mine was new I checked every week then slowed down. It got low by the first 3k, but still above the lower mark.

Oh okay that’s with some pushing. Not bad then. You running it rough vs me is about a 30-35 degree difference
Oh yeah no doubt there is a difference. I think it’s a bit too large tbh. I feel like the margins are to far apart. The oil cooler makes a massive difference lol.

Yeah honestly. Wouldn’t have thought that honestly. With hard driving I’m at about 195-205 at most. Never really top 205 unless I’m literally flooring it going 110+ mph consistently.

Yeah that was with some mild consistent punches to 4-5k in the city streets. I have been trying to vary my rpms new motor and all. There’s an install for the oil cooler online but it looks like a pain in the ass.

Little late but here is the cold check following day. Looks the same as my previous cold check the other day. So we are watching for any deviation from this line?
