I've asked a few people who have the kit and even reached out to ESS but no luck, do you know the measurements of the base intercooler for this kit?

Not off the top of my head no. It was just all default options kit with the g3 and 120mm pulley. It’s a missile now.

Quick update. The stock cats lasted 800ish miles. RIP stock cats. The car started to blow smoke under boost and got a quite a bit louder and smellier after the last few rips last week. Figured they were going, so had to get them gutted. Car is perfect again now and rips HARDER than before. The stock cats were really holding it back felt like.

So yes, remove the cats and save yourself some trouble. I was lucky they didnt fold up and take out a ringland. RIP stock cats 2026-2026.

This thread has me pumped. My 24 is currently at Vertex getting the G3X, fuel system with fuel rail mods, id1050x, catless LTH, OPGS and rear suspension. Should be able to run full e85 on a 115 or smaller.

Would this be worth it on a base 2024 GT, 10 speed, 3:15 gears? I’ve been thinking of going ESS. Suspension is where I want it and it’s going to be a street car. I was thinking of getting a gen 1 and building that up, but I can’t help myself into wanting to build up my GT 😅😂

Nice! So what kind of HP/TRQ numbers are you getting with this? Have you dynoed it?
Never put it on a dyno. Just street tuning where it would actually live. It was happy at 10psi running like a scalded dog.

The street manners are ok with the centri. Its like a stock car but enhanced. Which lends itself to tuning theory since you are basically driving an NA stock car until you really lay into it. So tuning wasnt hard with it, but that cross over from NA to boost tuning theory can get fuzzy. You dont want to water it down for normal driving and part throttle roll on, but you dont want stock level fueling and spark to be involved with boost.

Once it was dialed, it was a dream to drive and the whoosh when letting off the gas was worth the price of admission.

Yes after 10 long weeks, it showed up. I have decided to let a trusted shop do the install. They did my whipple Gen3 and it was perfect.

Install is Thursday. I already have my base tune written for it. I will be street tuning the kit all weekend.

The plan for this is to just do the base G3 kit with all the base options. No fuel system or injectors. Just as cheap as possible - on 93.

Once I get my base tunes for 93, I will see how far I can push the completely stock fuel system with e20/30 and if it will take it, e40.

Then I can start doing my ghost cam and pop flame tunes.

I figure the majority of folks will need tuning for the base kit on 93. After all this and some track testing, I'll order up Derel's fuel system and some ID1050x injectors and see what I can do on E85 with it. Should be fun@@

I'd like to run 9s on pure 93 with nothing but a drag radial or full drag pack. That would be a great formula for folks looking to get into the 9s with a modest investment.

Im sure like the gen3, this kit will be the top seller going forward. Mine was $6900 delivered from Graveyard performance. G3, 120mm pulley and all the default options.

UPDATE:

Going well. I’m tuning it slow on the street. It absolutely rips on a conservative tune.

Looks great, just not a fan of these farting tunes the kids like. Good luck with your goals.

Man I'm jealous, and I'm not the jealous type.

I did the Whipple Stage 1 on my 2024 and I would never go Whipple again.

Great choice.
Just curious what did you dislike about the Whipple? I have been running one for two years and am happy. What problems did you have?
