On Monday I get my navisk interface and camera wire installed. For now my plan is to initially use velcro for attaching the camera for easy removal and changes. I'm really curious how the interface holds up.

My plan is to create my own 3d printed bracket so I can attach the camera behind the grill (again using velcro, so it is not permanent). A little side project to tinker around. This will probably need some trial and error to get it right.
The 3d printed bracket is the way to go and using velcro is smart, it ends up taking me a few attempts before I’m fully satisfied.

I got the Mustang back with the camera installed today. I will do a proper write up once they send me the pictures of the installation.
The camera is installed at the front for now. They used 2 screws to keep it in place. At first, I wasn't too happy about it but then I didn't specifically say they should use any and it is in the plastic part. Not too sad about it after all. 🤷‍♂️

And here the view of the camera. Additionally, they added a physical button to switch to the camera view. That was a good decision because using the ok button to access the interface seems very wonky at best. Obviously, it is not oem quality but it will do its job for sure.
