Just bought it. I found the clutch indeed sometimes troublesome with take offs and in traffic. I'm curious how much a simple spring can improve it.

in theory yes. it is a "short press". however I found using the ok button to be wonky at best. luckily my installer had the foresight to install an additional physical button which just works by pressing.

takes a longer moment to start the interface when first starting the car. once it is running the switching is reasonable fast, but not as fast or convenient as the reverse cam (obviously). that said it is very convenient for front parking.

good news, I was able to finally dislodge it with a good jerk down. it seems to be stuck from the factory, but it works now as it should. thanks guys.

I'm sorry if I confused anyone, but I mean adjusting the steering column. I push down the lever (1) as far as it goes. But even so I cannot move the column. It seems the unlocking mechanism does not work or the column is stuck.

The owner's manual says: unlock the steering wheel column, adjust, lock. When I unlock the wheel column I can't move it. Obviously, Im not gonna rip on it like a maniac, but it simply does not butch. Am i doing something wrong? I tried with electricity on, motor running and everything off...

I always use it. but then I really like all the features (auto hold, hill assist, anti stall,..) that make your life easier. I want the fun of the manual but I'm not a purist.

it takes like 2 minutes to disable it in forescan. I used it the first time myself and it is surprisingly simple

yes the artificial sound is gone. I meant you still have the natural engine sound.

I disabled it and the v8 is still there. less pronounced maybe, but that is ok. this is actually outrageous. it's a car, not a computer game.

question: does it play the actual engine noise (with some microphones in the motor bay or whatever) or does it play pre-canned sounds? I didnt test it with ESE off yet, but if it just enhances the car's motor sound for our pleasure I could live with it.

so I just made it toggleable, didnt bother with the trying to tune it. good work @Fruitstang concerning the missing tolerances: as I'm aware tolerances are totally fine and many vendors offer more relaxed modes. even speed cameras have tolerances ffs. wild that out of all cars mustang drivers...

yes that's by regulation from the EU. we are not in the EU and it is not law but Ford doesnt bother for this tiny market
