Yeah that is my only worry, I can live with the noise if that’s all it is. it makes me concerned that it is a relatively new sound that only appears on random cold starts. I just got a mechanic stethoscope, so I am going to see if I have any luck narrowing it down myself.mine not the BBQ tick, that actually began only recently. Ive had several cars with noisy injectors so of no concern to me. the source being the phasers and/or HP fuel pump are typically the replies to you will receive either on the forum or asking any tech with Coyote experience. 'They all do it' is usually part of the reply. my only real concern is that if the cause is metal on metal friction causing the harmonic. No one's ever explained that fluids (oil or fuel) are the cause. The PCV theory is more recent to me. I will look into it further. I have another year of warranty and will probably visit my independent mechanic and round back wit the dealer before its up
