I wave or give a "thumbs up" when it's a nice Mustang, not for beaters. As was said before, if it's a beater, it's just a car. If it's restored, modded or just plain clean, then it's a Mustang and I acknowledge our common obsession.A phenomenon I have noticed lately is that while in my Mustang every other Mustang driver I see waves at me as they pass. This is my fourth Mustang and I don’t ever remember this happening any time in the past.
Is this new?
It’s normal to wave when on my Honda Goldwing but in the Mustang!!!
Not were I live but I have not seen another Dark Horse in the wild. Plus it seems no one even know what a DH is. People think it's a Shelby then I tell them it's a DH and they have never heard of it.A phenomenon I have noticed lately is that while in my Mustang every other Mustang driver I see waves at me as they pass. Stick your arm and handI don’t wave, but to be fair nobody can see in my windows anyway![]()
Agree, always waved from my Vette. I have only had the mustang for 2 weeks, and haven’t had anyone wave to me.Interesting. "The Wave" has been a part of the Corvette culture for years.
The "Save the Wave" slogan was not officially adopted by Chevrolet or used in any of its marketing campaigns for the Corvette. It instead originated from the grassroots level and was propagated among Corvette enthusiasts. It was first coined by the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC) in the late 1960s, and the tradition has thrived among the Corvette community ever since. ~ My Vette.com
