  1. Great Touring Car

    It most certainly is!
  2. Quiet start? Not really…can it be changed?

I also live in a 55+ community. My feeling is let the beast roar! It still not as loud as the mowers and leaf blowers the landscape company uses. Some of my neighbors are jealous remembering the cars they owned in the 60’s and 70’s.
  3. MY24.5 Lane Centering, Window & Puddle Light Issues – Anyone Else?

I’m happy for the overseas customers. I just wish Ford would have added front or 360 cameras, and a few other goodies from their parts bin to the domestic cars.
  4. MY24.5 Lane Centering, Window & Puddle Light Issues – Anyone Else?

How did the Aussie cars get auto fold mirrors and my GT premium doesn’t have them?
  5. 2024 Mustang sales comment

That’s great. Beautiful car! Enjoy ! My experience wasn’t so great, the local dealers were giving me the runaround on pricing for an ordered car, and the in stock car price kept changing. Typical treatment from a volume dealer. I was partly to blame, as I may have been a little rude when they...
  6. 2024 Mustang sales comment

Even if you have unlimited funds, some things just aren’t worth it. I sold my Corvette and was pining for a C8. In ā€˜22 they were unavailable, in ā€˜23 they were over priced, ADM’s of $10k to $20K, and in ā€˜24 the dealer shenanigans were just too much to stomach. Enter the Mustang. I saw a few, did...

I’m about the same age as you, and the one thing thatI’ve learned is that everything is a compromise…..don’t fight it flaunt it!
  8. 2024 Mustang sales comment

I am an Old Guy, and have been fortunate enough to have toy vehicles for many years. This is my first Mustang since 1973. I'm happy with the car but disappointed that at the high end (GT Premium & 401) Ford did not dig into their parts bin for a HUD, folding mirrors, surround view camera, and a...
  9. 2024 Mustang sales comment

If the Mustang GT Premium and 401 Pkg was not available with the creature comforts that I enjoy, and my only choice was a boy racer striped down Stang, I would have bought a Corvette. In fact I really wish the Mustang had a few more features, like a HUD, surround view camera, folding mirrors...
  10. Molten Magma & Vapor Blue

I agree on the Vapor Blue
  11. Why did you choose an automatic over a manual.

At 73 I no longer feel the need to row my own. Even though it's my fun car, I am happy to let it do the shifting for me. I am further comforted by the fact that the most advanced performance cars in the world, Formula 1, as driven by the best of the best only have 2 pedals!
  12. One Year Later...

Great review, and good luck with resolving the outstanding issues. I have had mine since the middle of July ā€˜24. No issues yet, but I think Ford left out some important features. Note, I’m old and spoiled having owned some nice fully featured cars, but my mustang MSRP was over 58K. At that level...
  13. Since I lost out on the vapor blue 10-16 update coming in a couple of days

Black is the best…..but it requires a commitment that I am unwilling to make at this stage of my life. Having owned 2 black Lincolns and 1 black Genesis G80 and a black Grand Cherokee, I’m done with black. Now when I was shopping for the S650, I came very close to driving off with a black...
  14. Lucky for me

I’ve got the same Conti’s. My experience with them has not been great in the past. I had a V8 Genesis sedan the came with 255 Conti’s in the front and 275’s in the rear. Had the car from 2016 to 2020 and 43000 miles. Replaced the factory set at 14K and the 2nd set at 33k miles. Had 2 blowouts...
  15. Lucky for me

Mine is Vapor Blue. I saw the car advertised on a dealer web site, and I wasn’t sure about the color. Called the dealer and they said the would have it cleaned and out front if I wanted to take a look. I had black in mind, but once I saw it I was good with the color. The key for me was that...
  16. Lucky for me

I’m with you Farmer! I sold my Vette pre Covid, and I have been throwing myself because I wanted another toy just for fun car. Well I was looking at some C8’s when I discovered the ā€˜24 GT. Our last Mustang was a ā€˜73 so it was time to renew my relationship with Mustang. My GT, 401A, AE, Bronze &...
  17. NoVA Mustangs

Try Summerduck, it's a 1/8 mile track but they have some good test & tune days. You will see a lot of crazy stuff running.
  18. NoVA Mustangs

Gainesville/ Haymarket area. Lime Kiln Rd, Harmony Church Rd and Snickersville Rd are good places for a nice twisty ride.
  19. Wheels after ~600 Miles and Clean

Also go with ceramic...makes cleaning a whole lot easier.
  20. Wheels after ~600 Miles and Clean

Try the S100 cleaner that is discussed in a thread about bronze wheels. I used it on my Bronze wheels and with just a little effort they cleaned up nicely. The worst issue is rolling the car so you can clean behind the Brembo calipers.
