Do Mustang owners wave at each other in the US?

A phenomenon I have noticed lately is that while in my Mustang every other Mustang driver I see waves at me as they pass. This is my fourth Mustang and I don’t ever remember this happening any time in the past.
Is this new?

It’s normal to wave when on my Honda Goldwing but in the Mustang!!!

Same. Since there is so few on the road, I think when you encounter another one in the wild that happens. I've had a few flash their headlights at me or rev.

Typically, it is a Jeep thing. But thinking about it, I have noticed some Durangos wave too. Must be a big thing between more vehicles now!

I've seen it on my bike, my jeep and my s550. Not EVERY mustang owner will wave, but most will. I'd say 8 out of 10 wave. If they drive a beat up trash barge they typically don't as to them it's just a car.
