Might have been a different program, as 20068 started 1/3. Regardless, they should have been able to associate that program with your order when it was placed.

Effective 1/3/24 through 4/2/24 on select vehicles, including select Mustangs
1.9% for 36 months
2.9% for 48 months
3.9% for 60 months
5.9% for 72 months

I think the 1.9% may require a $2500 down payment.

1.9 for 36 months. Deposit not a problem. I already have $1,000.00 on the order.

I tried getting locked in. My car will be delivered AFTER April 2nd. Sales rep said he couldn't do it.

The in house Ford finance guy assured me that 1.9 would be honored until my Mustang arrives even if the 1.9 plan is discontinued.

The first dealer I started with told me that best rates for a 800 credit score earlier in the day was 6.9……she knew I would only be borrowing about 10k and kind of blew me off when I asked about 1.9. I didn’t use her services for very long.

Second dealer where I have my Mustang ordered didn’t even bring up Ford finance until I asked about it and didn’t mention X plan pricing either even when I asked about rebates or incentives…..not part of their job description I guess.

As long as it's the same model year, yes. If your 2024 becomes a 2025, you lose those past incentives.

because X-plan is neither.
It's helpful to remember that sales people know next to nothing about the car, the financing, the incentives, or even if it's raining outside.

last year rates went up, but sales struggling more this year.

not sure if I should hold off purchase till next quarter or to fall entirely.

Based on my expected delivery timeframe, I may not have any choice. I have asked for an interest rate lock. Have not heard back from the dealer.

The dealerships aren't even able to answer that question. When the rebates or financing programs are released by Ford Credit, they are released.

And unless you put a bug into Ford Finance HQ, nobody can answer what comes in the future. When 4/2 rolls around you and everybody else will know what's happened.

I have no inside knowledge but I would think that the rates won't go higher than they are now and I think there's a decent chance they might go lower. My GT should be getting built this week so I'm hoping they go lower but I'll take the rates they have now if it's as good as it gets. Maybe we'll even see a 0% rate or 0.9% albeit probably for a short term (ie 36 months or so) but you never know. Heck lets through a little rebate bonus cash on the hood too. TIme to move those units.

They CAN'T answer the question. They don't know what Ford Credit is going to offer until they release it.

I have a great relationship with the owner of FOUR Ford/Lincoln dealerships and have bought 14 new vehicles from them in the past ~18 years. That's how I know.
