How much cheaper are those from the original ones? Always good to have another set if tail lights in case something happens.
it looks like the pair of them are less than half the price of a single OEM tail light

To those saying the clear tails could cause legal issues here in the States, Ford made them for the Ice White Package for S550 in 2022 and Ford Performance currently makes and sells them here in the US for installation on any S550. So clear taillights made for use here in the US are in fact DOT compliant.

S550 clear tails for reference:

That looks really good. I think it’s 10,000 times more cooler on a race red. I don’t know it’s just my thing you did a good job on your car. I’ve been following all your post on YouTube!!

The white/clear lights look awesome with the red color. Strange how europe went red now.
Red looks a Million times better but euch his own taste. In europe the S650 taillierte are red but the upper part is an amber sequential turn signal. Doesn't look too bad at all. Since I have a US spec. DH here in Germany the tail lights were modded. Turn signal is sequential and amber and brake light is red of course.

The lower part.

Did you install the rear fog light as well? And if yes, can you help me out do that as well?

The rear fog light is included inside the taillight. Stupid law requires this over here. It should be switched on at fog only with a maximum speed at about 30mph. People have it on sometimes at no fog and 100+ mph. A shop did the mods. I did it on my previous 50yrs S550. You need to open the enclosure and replace some SMD LED's and other stuff or replace the PCB. US version has one wire for brake and turn signal. First you have to slice these signals. As for the fog light you need a switch which can only get activated when the headlights are on. It is one of the brake lights when activated. A guy in Poland is also very skilled doing These conversions. Check at HDcustoms.com

that looks awesome! definitely cements my choice of "smoked" lenses
Thanks and smoked especially since it is supposed to be a "Dark Horse." Also did the side markers and rear reflectors in smoke. I really like how it all turned out.

I would have paid to get them in red on my S550, but my insurance would have exploited the loophole in case of an accident. 😓
You didn't have to buy an S650 for this, there are ECE-approved red tail lights for the S550. 😂
