Just installed the Clear EURO Tail lights from Auto Addict. Can’t find a complaint about them. Fit is perfect. I compared the OEM mold housing to the Auto Addict ones and they’re the exact same. They also have amber turn signals as well which is a great touch. So far super satisfied with them. I know the install for tail lights is different on the s650s I made an installation video and review for the lights. Let me know what you guys think!

i was looking at these a while ago, might get the smoked ones later next year. the euro ones would not fit in with my black and blue color scheme.
also, just want to note, that greyish square on the tail light bracket is a blind spot monitor. DO NOT DROP THEM! if you do, they are no good anymore, and it even says on it "set aside if dropped"

Yes definitely be careful not to drop or damage those. Black would be perfect for your color scheme

Technically, these are in violation of the Fed DOT section 393.11 covering requisite vehicle lighting. Some would argue that they meet the requirement when lit, but there is no verbiage stating that specific scenario. Steve Lehto, arguably the best vehicle law attorney in the US, covered this a few years ago on his YouTube channel. I looked a bit but didn't find the actual video.

I might (?) agree they look nice in some specific applications, but I can also imagine a rear end driver swearing he/she didn't see the brake lights since they weren't stock! I don't know about you, but I wouldn't do this.

You must be fun at parties then! They’re bright as all heck. They brake RED and have AMBER turn signals and amber is arguably more noticeable and apparent than red because it stands out more. Had eruos on my s550 and now my s650 no problem at all.

@Alan Applegate was just trying to watch out for fellow Mustang owners - no reason to make smart a@@ comments - it makes you sound like a typical you tuber who cares more about getting hits then watching out for fellow Mustang owners.....

If you get rear ended and your brake lights are not legal then they can turn around and go after you...... there is history on this as this was a popular modification with the Honda guys back in the day .....

I can see it now- but judge some random guy on the forums thought these were better/ safer .....I mean he said he had no problem at all..... maybe the light company can submit for certification based on you having no problem at all?

Dont get me wrong- Im all about customizing but in todays lawyer happy society you have to protect yourself.....would hate to see a fellow enthusiast get held partially responsible for an accident that was in no way their fault (getting rear ended)

I can see what he’s saying, but I can care less about the hits. I made a whole video on how to install for every Mustang enthusiast because there’s not many videos like this out there. This product just released so I am helping everybody out. You can’t live on what if circumstance. At least I don’t.

I like the look of the smoked lenses. I don't like having to remove the rear bumper to swap out the lights. Anyone else have fond memories of removing a few nuts, disconnecting the connector, and presto! the light is out?

Boy do you sound butt hurt.

if you’re not already on a Harley forum, maybe you could join one and warn us all about changing our exhaust.

I wish it was that easy. I don’t know why Ford decided to change it. Oh well

This happened to my former neighbor in Fairfax Co., VA. The ubiquitous Honda+fart can exhaust was in front of her, about to turn left and suddenly braked, she didn’t and hit him. Officer got statements and cited her, but, she protested I couldn’t see his tail lights at all. Cop went over and had the front driver start the car, then turn on headlights, then hit the brakes. Voided my neighbor’s citations (yes, they can do this) and cited the fart can driver for the collision.

I can see what he’s saying, but I can care less about the hits. I made a whole video on how to install for every Mustang enthusiast because there’s not many videos like this out there. On one hand, it’s great that you’re helping out the community. OTOH, @Alan Applegate is just trying to keep the community from running afoul of an unforced error on the roads.

You’re free to not be concerned about the potential pitfalls of the modification, but I would point you to a very like scenario already mentioned; the “loud pipes save lives” crowd. Generations of boomers and gen x’rs joining the rich urban biker club wanted to be cool like the “1 percenter” and to be that cool you have to have the drag pipes. Never mind they cost you about 10 precious hp under the curve and now you have to rev the pi$$ out of it to maintain speeds you could previously at part throttle, or that your poor tune won’t idle at traffic lights without stalling. You got to have the vest, pipe hitters patch and drag pipes. Oh, and chrome. Lots of chrome.

But the pipes make enemies of potential bystanders and allies alike. Nobody likes their kids crying from the ear splitting one percenter wannabe 15 feet away.

This kind of IDGAF attitude is how lobbyists and advocates band together to agitate for change with “THERE OUGHTTA BE A LAW!” It only takes about 30 phone calls of emails to nudge a legislator, fewer for county council or small municipality. The loud pipes save lives crowd are singularly responsible for noise ordinances up and down the east coast.

So I’m just saying be mindful, not saying pull the video, not saying f*** you or anything like that.

One minor nitpick: if you want to express a lack of caring, the proper phrase is “I couldn’t care less” not “I could care less”
