I need to figure this out more also. When I was working on ghost cam, I was trying to force a map through the engine -> airflow options. You can enable and disable map points. It all seems to be based on load and rpm. There’s some some tables in the variable camshaft tab there. I’m not sure if it just applies to cam timing though.Ok, some weirdness from other pockets...
I've been trying to work on MAF tuning, where I've always historically began, and ran up against this MAF map for bank 1; bank 2 will likely need its own calibration:
![]()
SENT A/D is apparently a raw count corresponding to voltage. While researching how to account for this in an HPTuners histogram with LTFT + STFT as the parameter, a little bird told me that S650's are apparently exclusively Speed Density tuned? Anyone else hear this?
Also, there's 27 Speed Density tables apparently, one for every driving situation, and an executive manager in ECU that selects and blends them as needed. I've managed to record when they turn on in the logs, but know jack sh1t about how the executive chooses them.
Learnin', learnin'...
