Thank you all for the great feedback and advise. After going down the many roads of your suggestions I've come up with a direction I believe will be the most beneficial for this project. That course is to pursue advise and help from a Ford Technician, Master Technician, Senior Master Technician or someone who has hands on experience with the electrical software of Ford's FNV3.X architecture. Tuners in general have products for the performance side only. That makes sense because it is their bread and butter/customer market. I'm not concerned about adding/modifying performance at this time. Forscan (If you can get it) sounds like the best way to get into the system but what happens when you deprogram/delete/modify a processor that was used by more than just the feature you were concentrating on. So, my path now is to look for an individual that understands how to navigate/manipulate Ford's architecture in a way that will allow me to use around 90% of the features incorporated into the DH Premium and fool the computers for the other 10%. My question for all of you this time is, Are any of you Ford Technicians/Master/Senior Master or specifically have the knowledge to alter Ford's FNV3.X architecture with the least collateral damage. Second would be if you know of any Ford Technicians or anybody that fits this request. I'll post this request in as many forums/blogs as I can find until I secure help, also I've contacted a few dealerships near me with many more to see.
