Howdy folks!

Anything interesting happen lately?

Lol, I kid, I kid, I've been glued to the site and reading reports for 48 hours now, and I'm told as of 20 minutes ago that we can use HPTuners VCM Editor Beta to begin accessing our S650 ECU's. I just loaded the beta and am about to give it a try.

The intention is to roll-my-own tuning having done it successfully on a few other platforms, and I can't believe I'm the only one. Hoping to start a little area for folks like me who interested in supporting one another and coming together as a group to tackle the likely headaches ahead.

Back in a jiffy after testing VCM Beta!

dealing with the same exact issue when trying to read the car using the MPVI3. Wish HPtuners would have fixed this issue before even releasing it. Kinda upsetting.

Howdy folks! So Eric and other folks at HPTuners are hammering away on debugging, and they claim they have a working version, but as of Beta 5.1.4628, I have not yet been able to 'Read Entire' or 'Virtual' read my stock map yet. Going to wait around a bit, as the versions so far today have come going about one an hour, and they're clearly working with a number of different vehicles to get everyone up and running.

Fingers crossed!

As of this morning, there's a new hardware type for 2025+ Fords in VCM Editor Beta, MG1CS055. I tried both 'read entire' and virtual read, and both said I was 'Not Authorized', a new error code. Submitted support tickets to HPTuners and on the HPTuners forum where we've been chatting with techs. Feels like the dam could break any day now..

That said, once I've pulled stock map and married my MPVI3 to the car, burning my four universal credits, I'll be thinking twice about actually flashing a map I've adjusted (a simple MAF tune, for example), until I've seen that others can flash using VCM Editor Beta, and not a shop getting special attention from HPTuners support team. Anyone else thinking along those lines?
