Getting ready to order the pcmtec multi tune from Wengerd and curious if anyone has used it yet.

Is it difficult to use compared to the TDN App? Setting everything up and loading the tunes?

And is the only way to load the tunes is through the Avid device?

Thanks guys

It’s still in testing. Results are looking good. But not quite ready yet for retail. I’d give it a few weeks before most of us roll it out.

Pcmtec is fire dude. I have the canflex tune from wengerd and it's baller.
Yeah no doubt. Dan(P1) is running it on his personal cars as well. I haven't wanted to try it yet because it was bricking just about every car they put in on including his. But they got that part sorted. The issue now I see is the translation of our HP Tuners tunes to PCM tec. There is no conversion or compatibility between the two and you have to do them by hand on PCMtec and nothing lines up 1:1. Its like sorting through code manually. Getting a clean tune on PCMTec is going to be a challenge until they get it defined and labeled well. I think DW has binary access so its easier for him to move the tunes over from binary to PCMT.

But as I said its a work in progress. Once I can guarantee my clean HPT tunes will be replicated correctly in PCMT, then I will do it on my car and test a bunch then offer it to my people.

But its going to be expensive...

The convenience is definitely worth it!
