I don't think it is intended to be less than a DH SC. I can see between a Base DH SC and a DH SC TP. In other words, under 140k but more than 100k. That's if production is an extremely low number.

I suspect the new Camaro will be priced very competitively with the Mustang-essentially an updated Alpha chassis, carryover 2.0 turbo, and a new V-8 shared with the Corvette and light duty pick-up trucks. The base 6.7 L Corvette motor makes over 500 hp and 500 lbs. ft of torque.

Actually, he's not far off.

I learned of the program almost two years ago now so this not something new, it just hasn't been shared. Code name is Project Blackbird.

I can't speak to the name it ends up with but the idea was a high revving Coyote variant that took advantage of a displacement bump to 5.4 liters. Both a DCT and an upgraded TR3160 were part of the initial plan but I'm not so sure the DCT will make the cut - it depends on where this fits into the existing product line mix as the inclusion of a DCT bumps price up somewhat. Manual gets an improved shifter from their current supplier. I thought this might have been a late '26 offering but it made sense to hold it back until 2027. I suspect there'll be a marketing tie in with the upcoming hypercar's 5.4 if not the current GT3 car.

Still not holding my breath because whatever car that may or may not be revealed ain't gonna be reasonably priced
