For me, that's a good thing. I can follow instructions to a T. When I start to experiment, that's when trouble starts, hahaYea we are the job 1 peasant![]()
You're the wrong guy to be leading this charge then CowboyWell, I'm job 2 but I have a Canadian car where the DRL acts like the European. I'm also the cheerleader.
I already stopped doing any changes for a few days. You're the wrong guy to be leading this charge then Cowboy![]()
i was about to say how yours is a job 1, but i double checked just in case. yours is a very, very late job 2; September 2024. yours also has the LDCMA, LDCMB, and HCM software that the GTD has. i decided to compare some other stuff too.Well, I'm job 2 but I have a Canadian car where the DRL acts like the European. , also the same as the GTD.This might help but I have no clue, I messaged that one guy that managed to do it, he said that he should be able to help me as long as I have โFDRSโ I gotta sneaking suspicion heโs gonna try to have me pay him but I got RGB headlights being delivered soon so I probably wonโt proceed if he does.i was about to say how yours is a job 1, but i double checked just in case. yours is a very, very late job 2; September 2024. yours also has the LDCMA, LDCMB, and HCM software that the GTD has. i decided to compare some other stuff too.
your right headlight part number ends in R and the left ends in X, which is also true for the GTD.

so out of all of us in the thread, you're the best candidate to actually get this working.
also, while i was typing this, i discovered that Ford finally uploaded the wiring diagrams ans workshop manual for the GTD! time to get comparing those
FDRS is a dealer-level tool for programming of modules. a 2-day license is $50, 30-day is $200, and 365-day is $900. the fact you apparently need FDRS is quite interesting. if he does require being paid, PM me how much. im willing to pitch in funding for this projectThis might help but I have no clue, I messaged that one guy that managed to do it, he said that he should be able to help me as long as I have โFDRSโ I gotta sneaking suspicion heโs gonna try to have me pay him but I got RGB headlights being delivered soon so I probably wonโt proceed if he does.
edit - just realized that means โFord Diagnostic and Repair Systemโ

Yes, but just like I said earlier. When I compared all regions, the GCC and US have almost the same way of programming the DRL while EU and Canada has their DRL programmed differently.i was about to say how yours is a job 1, but i double checked just in case. yours is a very, very late job 2; September 2024. yours also has the LDCMA, LDCMB, and HCM software that the GTD has. i decided to compare some other stuff too.

he is 100% using FDRS to do something, you cant change the IPC to a GTD's without reprogramming it. the normal Mustang programming just simply does not have it. FDRS is $50 for 2 days, $150 for 30 days, and $850 for 365 days. plus, you need a specific adapter which costs $2000+Anyways, I think the guy from Saudi Arabia is not using Forscan.
Why I think this..
- He asks a lot of money
- I showed him my GTD splash screen and the first thing he did was laugh. He said what I did is not what he did. He knew directly that the change that I made was not changing the whole screen into the GTD animation and told me that he has all screens and animations changed to GTD.
These two together make me think he uses that expensive Ford tool with the expensive monthly subscription and that's why he asks a lot of money which makes sense.
Well, at least that's out of the air. And it looks silly to have a GTD screen anyways. It's only fun if you could toggle it on and off, to make small kids happy when they jump in the car and want to see cool stuff.he is 100% using FDRS to do something, you cant change the IPC to a GTD's without reprogramming it. the normal Mustang programming just simply does not have it.
