Yes some have, somethings and yes.Watched a video that said you could gain hp by removing the carbon restrictors. Has anyone done this?
Not sure what that might affect downstream or is it purely air flow.
Unfortunately, I didn't check after each change to quantify the differences, but between high flow air filters, removing the carbon traps and installing an x-pipe the throttle response and power delivery felt significantly better.Has anyone else done this? Intuitively it should help to remove them. Any anticdotal benefits realized?
Most people’s highly calibrated butt-o-meters are notoriously inaccurate. The only time I have ever felt a “seat of the pants” difference in power is when I’ve done a modification, gone to the dyno and found a prodigious dip in the power curve.It seems the reports lean more toward a greater seat-of-the-pants throttle response feel improvement than the dyno displayed determination.
