You can't have it all, it's a Mustang after all ;)
You have to pick two from each side or be ready to pay $300.000.
they can do all three without touching the gtd. Lots of room in between. LOL

Not on that old ass platform... We'll get a GT500 successor but that one will be very similar to what we already have/had in the past.
Heavy, decent handling and fast - once it gets off the line. The only thing that will be new is the $95K sticker price...

I hope I'm wrong but I don't see Ford doing anything exciting with this generation.

Ford Benchmarks Rival's Sport Sedan, A Potential Four Door Mustang Foe (fordauthority.com)
I wonder if they were to go this route instead of rematch-competing with the upcoming Charger again, would they even have a chance against Europe's best compact/midsize sports sedans?
In short: no.

However, a 4 door Mustang with AWD and a low price might find his owners.
All German variants are much faster, more luxurious and overall good all-rounders. They don't come cheap but entry versions are already almost on pair with a maxed out Dark horse (~75000€). If they would price such a car way below that price point people would buy it but I don't see that happening in Europe and I don't see a large market for that kind of car in the US.

Price it at $45-48 to start with V8 and a manual. Hopefully mid $50s with minor options.
Id buy one tomorrow

they’ve got their hands full for sure. Used the underlying platform for far too long.

but I think they’ll be able to russle up something good as a send-off.

it won’t be as great as they could have done with a new platform built for performamce, but it will probably add some shine to this gen.

I never cared for the idea of a 4 door Charger & dislike the Mustang 4 door idea even more!! THAT'S NOT RIGHT!:crazy:

Think about this…The best selling vehicle in the US is the Ford F150 with a average transaction price of $68000…That is roughly $75000 with tax & license 😳 Ford sold twice as many F150 as BMWs get sold in this country at a similar average transaction price of $72000 ! (According to caredge) 80 % of car buyers in the USA cant afford to buy a new car…You would think that Ford would be able to produce and sell a 4 door rwd sedan with a V8 for lets say somewhere around $45-60K and still make a profit like Dodge did with the Magnum,L300&Charger for the last 20 years…As the american rwd sedan with a V8 is officially dead in 2024 ! Yes I know GM still makes Camaros with 4 doors but for more than 100 grand nobody buys these fake Cadillacs that try to be BMWs which they are not with their cheap interiors , super stiff suspension and lack of awd which makes them unsuitable for snow belt states…
