I had water coming in through the door panel trim on the passenger door in a car wash the week I picked up my car. Took the dealer a couple weeks to get the part back in late '23 but they got it and fixed it. I wonder if this is the same issue? Seems like it.

Would you take a pic or tell where exactly the water came in and what they did to fix it ?

I hear you on the weather and seasons. I found that the market is now nationwide with people buying and having vehicles transported to their home.
Yup, that is how I usually buy my vehicles!
Even so, upon the holiday season people usually stop thinking about buying cars and start spending on travel, holly jolly stuff and gifts.

But they’ve already taken the first step, the second (incentive) may come later, since they seem to be in a habit of following the mustang lately (corvette - the 2nd american manufacturers vehicle under 7 around the ‘ring)

Damn! Guess I'll stick with the water leak! 😆

I’m a Ford Man to the core (except one transgression with Corvettes), but Ford seems to have a problem with water intrusion. My 2019 F350 flooded, soaked the carpet. Twice. $800 & $400 to remove, dry, replace padding. I wish they would get their act together.

Didn’t quite understand your reply, but I’ll bite - how did you know? Same problem?

Yes, same problem (truck). As in water meet carpet, hey look at that from behind the door.

edit: added the video (not me but thanks to the guy that made it) which indicated the possible which became the actual cause

Yeah, Ford has no ETA on this...

I just called Blackstock Ford here in Ontario to get an appointment for pre-storage service (oil change and coolant top off) as well as the black screen of death recall to finally be done; the lady (Andrea) saw that there was a 2nd recall however she said they have no ETA on when Ford will release a fix for that.

Looks like gonna be a waiting game.

For my use case, the water issue is not a big one. The car gets washed by hand, rarely gets caught out in the rain, is not a winter vehicle and is stored fron Nov to April.

No availability of new ones can't help but raise the value of used ones. I got a text from KBB this morning that my '24 has increased in value by 6.5%.
Yeah, I'm looking (was looking) for a car, and the prices on used ones have gotten crazy.
