You can order the Dark Horse with bronze wheels this MY as well. You just can't get bronze HP wheels.
Where?

I've checked both 2025 order guides and don't see the option.

EDIT 2: It's a no-go in Canada...at least when it comes to the 2025. ☹

Hopefully that changes for '26!

As a sidenote, I haven't even seen a DH with the OEM bronze option in pictures. I guess no one wants them?

Cutting corners everywhere!

Floormats not even included now. A little less paint on the Ecoboost bumper (granted this area did collect rock chips, but still). They also made base Ecoboost wheels completely unpainted, saves a few dollars in manufacturing.

I also suspect the switch to all black headlights for MY2025+ was to save a few bucks (no fancy metallic paint needed inside the headlight housing anymore). Those silver touches made the car look more alive, like eyes.

It looks like that orange Ecoboost's black inserts are actually the result of a bad photoshop on Ford's part. They're the exact same color as the rest of the body on the old version of the photo.

It's been fun everyone. (Un)fortunately, I've decided to wait longer indefinitely until I pull the trigger on a Mustang GT. I just simply don't have the money for it right now, and as much as I enjoy cars in general I don't want to go broke for my passion/hobby. In the meantime I'll enjoy Mustang GTs as much as I can in videogames for the time being.
I kept waiting, thinking that Ford would reneg on their pricing and do things to make the model lineup more appealing—a more bonafide Shelby successor, TR3160 as a GT option, price reductions, etc. It’s only gotten worse since launch.

Don’t know if I’ll ever see myself in one unless they pull a 180 somewhere soon. Just don’t see the value.

Tangential to what you wrote, I ended up building a sim rig a couple years back to “tide me over” and make the wait more palitable.

The good news is that I’ve been able to enjoy this Mustang and several other vehicles, vicariously speaking. The bad news is that I developed a heroin-level addiction to sim racing.

I believe the Tremec was always optional. It does cost more than the A10.

it being listed in "major product changes" means that the Tremec used to be standard

in the price guide, it shows this:
S650 Mustang 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides 1750825910463-h

but this is what the same line looks like in the 2025 and 2024 price guide:
S650 Mustang 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides 1750825991551-ns

S650 Mustang 2026 Mustang Order & Pricing Guides 1750826109969-mb

Yep. Just looked it up on the 25 builder. Be nice if the GT at least had it as an option. All levels of GTs.

It wasn't that way on the Mach 1. What a world we live in that paying extra for a manual transmission is now acceptable. 🤦‍♂️

the Tremec is actually not an extra charge on its own. however, the fuel economy goes low enough with it that it needs the next level of gas guzzler tax compared to the 10R80, so i guess you could technically say its a $300 option?

I can't remember. But I think the Tremec costs a few hundred more, but is standard. My wife has a Mach and loves the Tremec. She started with a full blown 24 Ecoboost PP, Magnaride, GT350 shafts. Her Mom has the Ecoboost now. I get to commute with the Mach 1 Oxford White. I love this car. I put a Steeda Triax short throw, Steeda H-Pipe, and GT350 1/2 shafts. Will get a Procharger SC for it by September. Won't be needing much else. Upkeep and TLC.

Based on what I saw, they closed ‘25 order banks and opened ‘26 already. They usually give a week warning about them closing, and usually there is some overlap.

I got the 2027 model memo:

- 5.0 engine not standard on the GT, optional.
- wheels are not standard, optional
- Steering wheel not standard, optional
- front windshield not standard, optional
- turn signals not standard, optional
- headlights not standard, optional
- paint color not standard, optional

What comes standard?
- 9.5 quarts of motor oil, but you have to put it in the engine yourself if you choose for the optional engine
- lug nuts, but you have to put them in yourself if you choose for the optional wheels
- paint color, but you have to paint your car yourself if you choose the optional colors
- light bulbs, but you have to put them in yourself if you choose for the optional headlights
