Pretty sad that most of us know more than some of there Dealers do. The dealership I'm working with now is pretty on top of it. The previous one I dealt with was ran by a bunch of circus clowns.

Question here. Am I supposed to build it on the site, then go into the dealership and give them that build? Or do I build it at the dealership?

You do not need to use the Ford Build site beforehand. Knowledge or insight of the Order Guide and option codes is all you need.

If you have the order guide with the codes and know what you want, that should work for them. They'll use your references to place an order in Ford's Web Order Entry system, give you pricing, place the order and give you a copy of their inputs.
