I just checked used C7 Corvette prices online and some of them are being advertised with less than 20k miles for less than $51K. A Mustang DH is listing for greater than $57.9K. I guess the used Corvette market is pretty flat.

Yeah, Corvettes and mustangs hold their resale value pretty well. My one hope with the c8 is that there so popular, I hope they'll be a good go to option for a cheap mid engine used sports car down the road.

Was it a manual? Chevy pulled the manual out of the product line and anything with a manual goes for a premium price.

No surprise here. A lot of comparisons can be made because of today’s high prices on everything. A member posted his price sheet for a fully loaded GT vert and it is $66k. This is why I plan on keeping my 19’ GTCS for a long tine.

The 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor Wildtrak is going almost $70k at dealerships, so its cheaper to buy a DH than a less horsepower Raptor Wildtrak

My build is DH Premium, 700A, AP, HP, Blue Ember, 10A and Recaro. Build came to $72k before price increases (ordered 3.27).

That is exactly why I couldnt let my DH get over $70k. My order is at $66K. The C8 I really want is $90k MSRP. So for now I settled for the DH. DH will still be a VERY fun car until I can afford the C8, or whatever is in that price range when I get there.

I ordered my new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport in 2019 knowing the C8 was coming soon. They did a great job with the C8 but I had no interest, needing more practical space for two sets of golf clubs, luggage, etc. I have loved the C7 but I have my order in for a loaded DH at $72k. I still prefer this over the C8 for the same reasons, and the fact that I can get it with a manual tranny, but its just my humble opinion. Looking forward to getting it!

He did but almost everything is of higher quality in the C8. I don't know the 1LT (base) quality as we only get the 2LT and 3LT versions in Europe but the 2LT trim has a way better interior than any Mustang ever. I'm not talking about design but quality of the used materials, panel fitment etc.

Besides, the C8 is way faster than the DH...

I think it's fair to compare both cars as they are almost priced identically. However, the C8 is the much better deal here but only if you don't want a manual and only if you can accept the limits of a sports car as a daily driver.

The C8 drives like a Grand Prix racer while the DH drives great in straight lines.
