YouTube themselves marked the video as AI-Generated, and the Gemini summary notes this is just a re-imagination.

If a Boss 429 were on the way, we'd be seeing mules already. And with the next generation seemingly imminent, a 429 ci engine would need to already be undergoing testing.

This is fake.

Yea. I just finished watching it. didn't notice the tiny AI disclaimer at first. Has a few errors between the visuals, and voice over too.

MEH!

There is no way FORD would ever release a Boss 429 (Or any Mustang for that matter) with a hideous wheel and tire setup like that. The wheel/tire setup as shown is good for........... for.......... thinking.......... nothing. In all fairness, it would be perfect for a Hot Wheels car.

Beyond a Hot Wheels car where would a "like" wheel/tire combo be appropriate and more importantly functional. See below -

1. Street X
2. Strip X
3. HPDE Event X
4. Mustang Unleashed X
5. Spirited drive/cruise on twisty scenic road X
6. Remote section of highway where you'd never be seen X
7. Static Display in a Ripley's Believe or Not Museum - âś“

Edit Add - S-650 rear, S-550 front. My opinion of the stripes...... "Yenko" Nova vibe.

Someone educate me.....why would anyone want a 429 - IMO a big pig of an engine with crap HP - when you have a lightweight 5.0 making 500HP? Giant step waaay backward IMO.

So we get this a lot in the auto industry.

Often one of the best ways to know if something is fake is if it's something you can't find from anyone else, isn't confirmed by the brand, or by a legit insider.

Like we know stuff that comes from Ford is obviously legit. We know some of the stuff Ford is working on in secret because it can be confirmed by multiple sources. Think the mustang sedan or off-roader mustang. Multiple people can confirm seeing these models that things like dealer product previews.

But in cases where it's someone's uncles co-workers son who works at a supplier for Ford says X product is happening, that's almost always BS. Same goes for dealer employees.

A very small portion of dealer employees actually see and know about future product. But most don't, and have the same level of insight into future product as the rest of us. Yet we always see someone who says "My Chevy dealer told me a new such and such was coming out soon" usually some revival of a classic model that has no evidence of actually returning.

People look at the past with rose tinted glasses. A lot of people who grew up with those sorts of engines are nostalgic about them. But often don't realize a modern 5.0 is better in literally every way. Power, efficiency, tunability, reliability, etc.

One of the dumbest rumors we ever had in the mustang community was the possibility of getting a 6.8 or even 7.3 super duty motor in the mustang. It was fun in an overkill kinda way, but it was so dumb.

Throwing a heavier, less powerful motor into this awesome sports car that would have required millions of dollars of engineering work just to get close to the 5.0. It made no sense.

Thats not entirely accurate. We all know this car is fake ( its got an S550 body for gods sake), but if it were made, its not like Ford would be putting an old a 60 year old 429 in it.

It would be a modern pushrod V8 similar to the LS7 from the Z06. That engine was 7 liters (427 CI) and made 505 HP. Hardly less powerful, and with an aluminum block, it weighed the same as a gen 4 coyote. Im sure a modern take would be even more spicy.

A Mustang powered with an engine like that would be a quarter mile beast (not a track car), and I for one would be all over that. The low end torque would be worth it alone.
