Standard mustang sizes (255 and 275/40r19) yes the PS5 is available and is a competitor to the stock pirreli's. However it's not to be confused with the S5 which is the replacement for the 4S.
They shouldn't be targeting just one metric as for a tyre manufacturer that's easy to do. It's...
But also not the problem in the recall. The affected eyelets are on too tight and are overstressed and may fail at any time.
I'd love to of been a fly on the wall during their 8D meetings discussing this.
On the Hazop/Hara system this must of been really rare and obscure. Got to wonder the...
Helps keep a tab on how many V8 S650's have been built / sold. Would guess the 150k is all US models up until recently with ROTW not included in that recall notice but will no doubt happen soon enough.
I wonder how many days the stop sale for the wiper issue was lifted for before this issue...
Depends on the cause but brakes are usually a wear and tear item and excluded from warranty. i seem to recall at point of purchase ford offering a warranty upsell that included wear and tear for ~ÂŁ500, but it only included brakes, clutch, wiper blades and exhaust.
Unless they find a stuck /...
Some time dilation is going on. July was only a month ago not 2. At most it's a month and a half since the start of July.
Funny tho it was 4th July that the damaged happened, wonder what else could of been going on that day. Stray fireworks perhaps.
The 'Gas guzzlers' tax in Europe/UK isn't binary but has a few groups instead.
The Mustang is well into the 'you really shouldn't buy this' category.
Some countries apply it as a fixed cost (which can be significant on cheaper cars) others it's a percentage of retail value.
If you finance the...
Check the EU section of the forum, the very first cars (job 1 EU's) didn't have the spoiler. From job 2 on they did which arrived a couple of weeks later.
Nothing to do with regulations or emissions. Just ford being ford
The difference is more on paper than reality.
The American figure is done with MAX grade (93) fuel avaliable.
Euro figure is with MIN grade of fuel (95, equiv to 89-91 American)
The particulate filters restrict the top end only. A tune that create 'bangs' down the exhaust will make short work...
They won't be there for long with that tune. The fact they mention 93 suggests it's a north American tune.
It's clear from where peak power is ford wanted the gen 4 to rev more but held it back for most likely durability reasons
DH is already on its 3rd model year, it may make it into its 4th.
From what I can tell/ response from dealer is that the DHSC is the MY27 update and that the next update is going to be announced summer '27. For late 27 production.
Guess we'll see soon enough if the vin codes increment
Sounds familiar to the estimated arrival of my car, even when in the UK they didn't know when it was going to arrive.
I recall the online support saying it was last seen at the the docks but it's not on our system anymore. Followed by a phone call from the dealer to say it's just being unloaded...
You would of thought the land of the liability lawsuit would be the one that's the most strict on mods but it's more the opposite.
Germany is one of the strictest going with every component change requiring full documentation and type approval. It's a price they pay for de-restricted roads...
You like me are in the UK not Europe, but it does also depend on the severity of the recall and it's safety category.
If the wiper falls under a stop drive recall then more significant action is taken.
A standard safety recall you must make an informed decision and future dealer resale is not...
It depends on when yours was built, there is a production date that they were then fixed from factory. But since cars fresh off the boat in the uk are effected they may not have filtered through yet. Shipping to europe takes a long time.
MY26's are effected by the issue.
Ford europe tends to...
Cars used to rust and that would be the end of life for the majority of cars, it was seen as just one of those things.
Then they got on top of the rust problem (at significant cost) and cars started wearing out instead. They soon realised timing when things start to wear out is critical.
You...
'Past performance is no indication of future success'
Ford will do what ford wants and people can speculate until the cows come home but that won't change a thing.
The entire automotive market is doing a bit of a swing around, a few years ago the last ever ICE's were being developed as EV's...
Yup it's the wiper recall, has put a 'stop-sale' on all new mustangs with a fix estimated in Jan/Feb and next batch of cars due in March, they are likely to be MY26's
I'm waiting to hear back when the march batch is due to be built.
They are eager for my car and have offered a very favourable...
