The spoiler is the "pedestal spoiler" from the 2024 Ecoboost Nite Pony Package cars, I made a thread about that spoiler here:

They no longer use that spoiler on anything as far as I'm aware of, the current Ecoboost Nite Ponys come with the old base GT spoiler in black (new base GTs don't have a spoiler for 2026). The convertible has a similar low-profile decklid spoiler but it's different than the coupe one due to different trunk curvatures

The 'Gas guzzlers' tax in Europe/UK isn't binary but has a few groups instead.
The Mustang is well into the 'you really shouldn't buy this' category.

Some countries apply it as a fixed cost (which can be significant on cheaper cars) others it's a percentage of retail value.

If you finance the car and are only paying the depreciation and it's a rare car then it's not so bad.

It is a double edged sword, it's an incentive for Ford to do better, and a incentive for the buyer to purchase something else.

If Ford did a plugin or mild hybrid variant it would attract much less taxation, doesn't even need to be a big battery just enough to cover the WLTP test as it's allowed to start full, finish empty.
However that loophole is closing with Euro7 when emissions for charging are included and will hurt many EV's
