Found this in the driver side door

Found it inside the driver side door storage compartment..
What could it be? Where should it be screwed/pushed into? I am guessing it’s somewhere in the interior - any ideas where!? Thanks!

It's a carpet stud that holds the trim in the footwell.

I don't have an S650 I'm afraid, but look around the upper footwell for a bit of trim with a hole in it and no fastener. They just push on to a stud

Yep, interior trim piece holder. They are also in the trunk too and hold the liners. If you don't find any open hole just toss it. It isn't that big of a deal plus if you ever do find out where it went you can buy a ton of them online for super cheap. Don't stress about it.

Lmbo!! I just recently had this on my Drivers floorboard and I was stumped as to where it came from. I looked around and didn’t see anything or anywhere that it may have came from. Will do a more extensive search and should I find out where it dropped from, will post a pic of the location.
