We have an app called Flitsmeister and I use it for 17 years now. I think it saved me more than 100.000 Euro's of fines 🤣🤣

That thing is the best ever. Even if a cop stands just for 1 minute, it's already on the app and warns you before you reach.
A crowd sourced app like waze?
Waze has become very good here after a slow start. On one very illegal road trip waze saved me as often as the detector.

I use waze everyday. It always shows where the cops are or recently were

Anyway...not sure how this side conversation got going again. Hood lift....

Yes like Waze but 10x better. At least in my country.

Back to the topic, lol.

It's likely a 2 step process so that the hood doesn't feel like it's about to take off at highway speeds and that it is still aligned with the panels. Corner rubber stops for alignment and probably hood latch itself for downward travel.

Is it easy to adjust the hood latch?

Umm, like 2 bolts I think. I haven't done it myself yet.

Sofa King(great) - do you know?
Yes... two bolts... I trace around it with a sharpie first, that way you can see how much it moves. You want to go down just a small amount but not moving to either side. If you screwed out the stops, screw them back in some. Once you move the latch then screw the stops out as needed. A little rubbing alcohol will remove the sharpie marks after all done.

Thanks Sofa King! The dealership adjusted it months ago but I want to tweak the latch and the stops together to find the right combined solution.
