It might be my ageing ears but the B&O sounds fine to me. I'm also more into clear bass lines and crisp treble than window rattling thumping. Although the ENT guy who did my last hearing test said I'll be the interpreter in the rest home as I'll be the only one who can hear.
I'd really like to hear what the guys who complain about it think is great sound.

I don't get the hate either for the stock B&O. It's not bad (and I can compare it to my Volvo's HK speakers). Having said all of that, I did:
- Swap out the center speaker
- Disable the EQ/ANC/ESE using Forscan

Have my subwoofer upgrade ready, but I want to do this when I have to take it out anyway to access the rear reflector lights. Luckily all upgrades to audio have been really inexpensive/easy.

I dont get it either. Not saying its perfect, but all the negative comments are greatly exaggerated.

I agree, The B&O is the least of my issues. I mostly enjoy my exhaust but when the wife and I go out to dinner we jam and we are both impressed with it. I did do the sub upgrade , it was fun and a noticeable in clarity. The stock one is an absolute joke. not sure I need to mess with the center speaker and create some rattle by messing with the dash.
The body panel alignment for a $70k dark horse is an absolute joke, and disgrace in my opinion. I spent a lot of time fixing the hood and trunk. I love the new interior and do not understand the hate on that either.

The center channel upgrade (at least the one I did), was a 15 minute job. No rattling and I do find it to sound better (more clarity). And the center speaker driver is another paper cone.

My neighbour took posession of his fancy Mercedes Benz all electric coupe about the same time (3 weeks ago) that I got my 2026 GT premium convertible. So far no issues with mine and fit and finish is very decent. He had a door fit problem, a leak and so many charging problems that a factory rep had to be sent to the dealership....and his ride is at least twice the cost of mine.

You can always find exceptions to any rule but the myth of German construction standards is exactly that these days. The bullet proof Mercedes ended in the late 1990's

I just rolled over the magical 22,222.2 miles yesterday. I originally was going to start my own thread on thoughts over the build quality, but I'll just dump my thoughts in here.

Mines a bone stock base ecoboost, nothing fancy. I dumped a BOV on it to embrace the rice for memes, but otherwise I haven't touched much.

Engine: Typewriter tick when cold persists a bit longer than I really like, but as I've been doing the research, it seems like doing oil changes around 5k are the better option than following the IOLM. I definitely notice a difference on fresh oil vs the oil at 80% per the IOLM. Beyond that, I don't have any complaints with the 2.3L that I can think of, it's been solid thus far.

Drivetrain: This is where I don't have a ton of confidence, but hopefully others can give me some feedback. The first turn or two of every drive, when the rear end is cold, I can hear the rear end binding a bit. I feel the slight rumble, but it doesn't seem to actually be locking up. I've always had vehicles with limited slip rears, but I've never felt or heard this before. It reminds me of the AWD vehicles when they're cold, same exact sound. It goes away after a few seconds, overall isn't of huge concern to me.
Driveline vibe was persistent from the day I owned the car. Probably because we sit so close to the driveshaft, but vibes were strong at 78-82mph. Lately the vibes are starting to pick up on the half the speed now around 45mph. Suspect U-joint is probably on it's way out in the next 10-20k.
The transmission is what bothers me the most. The A10 overall is a fun transmission, don't get me wrong. What's bothering me though is the loud mechanical, almost like a servo sound that occurs when you get on the gas from idle. You can slightly hear it inside the cab, but if you're going down the street around 20-35mph with the windows down, it's rather loud from outside. The sound is definitely related to torque converter engagement. Combine that with what feels like a general slop in the transmission, and it's not giving me alot of confidence in the longevity of the car. It's quite easy if you poke the gas to get some lurching if you're not careful. Obviously I don't drive it like this though.

There's alot of random, but subtle rattles in the panels, particularly around the doors. Minor issue. Body panels don't align well throughout the car. When I first got it, whoever installed the rear bumper forced it on without aligning one of the tabs. I was able to fix this on my own however. The trunk seal around the bottom of the rear window is permanently squashed and misaligned because of it. Bad install. For the first few months, MyColor options on the dash would reset every few weeks. After the latest software update, it seems to be good now.

It sounds like I'm on a rant, but overall I do love driving the car. It's fun, it's fast and it's great on gas. Being an Ecoboost, quieter, I'm sure it's alot easier to pick up on these little things than if I owned a V8. I've been on the fence about building up this car a little bit, tuning for the 500hp numbers, just enough to hang with a V8. OR just trade it in at 39k and get a V8 instead. Originally I bought the Ecoboost for the 130 miles a day I was driving, but I've since swapped jobs, so no longer an issue. Sticking with the car is a much cheaper option, but if I start building it, warranty is out the window. I don't feel comfortable enough with the car to risk that yet.

If anyone has any feedback on the driveline issues I mentioned, lemme know.

TracLoK rear diff is noisy when cold for the first couple of tight turns. My S550 and S650 both do it / did it with no long term effects. Most other clutch based LSD's do the same thing on other cars.

Typewriter tick on the Ecoboost? Coyote has the typewriter tick.

First gear in the A10 tends to show up the oil pump gear noises - again they all do it.

Noted. I've never noticed it on any of my other mechanical LSD vehicles, but admittedly they were all trucks. A bit more isolated from the source of the sound.

The tick sounds like a lifter tick, which I'd normally expect to go away within a second or two of building oil pressure. This one persists for about 30 seconds on average, to a minute or two on older oil.

Transmission noise: I've never heard it in 1st gear, only like 3rd or above. Oil pump makes some sense though as it's certainly related to torque converter.

Can you elaborate on the bumper? I think I have the same issue.
